WAT TYLER & THE PEASANTS REVOLT
A CURRENT PROJECTCHAMPIONING HERITAGE
Step into a world where history collides with imagination, where the past comes alive, and where young and old embark on a theatrical adventure like no other. "The Knight at the Museum" is more than just a performance; it is a joyous celebration of our community's heritage, woven together with the threads of inclusivity and creativity.
"The Knight at the Museum" is made possible through the generous support of Arts Council England, an acknowledgment of the importance of preserving and celebrating our cultural heritage through the arts. This funding has allowed Unpuzzled Theatre Company to craft an unforgettable experience that bridges generations and unites our community in an exploration of our shared history.
THE POWER OF THEATRE
This project is more than just a show; it is a community event that brings neighbors, friends, and families closer together. With Arts Council England's support, Unpuzzled Theatre Company has been able to create an inclusive and accessible performance that unites the diverse communities of Southend-on-Sea in celebration of our shared history.
"The Knight at the Museum" took place in August the Summer of 2023. With five days of rehearsals and 25 performances over five show days at Southend Central Museum, we were proud to welcome over 500 audience members and participants.
At Unpuzzled Theatre Company, we believe in the power of theatre to connect hearts, celebrate diversity, and create lasting memories. "The Knight at the Museum," was a moment where the arts, history, and community came together in a tale for the ages.
We are currently putting in a bid for more funding in the hopes that we can share this show with a broader range of our community - with the aim to perform the show and provide workshops for up to 20 schools.
