Museum of Living History – August 13th

£5.00

Running from the 5th-8th and 11th-14th of August, The Museum of Living History will be open to members of the community four times a day at 9:30am, 11:15am, 1:30pm, and 3:15pm. We welcome everyone to come and immerse themselves in important local history, the effects of which continue to echo through our modern day lives.

We are a not-for-profit company with very little funding, seeking to educate the community about local history and the sociopolitical climate in an engaging way. With your help, we can bring these workshops and shows to schools in the area.

Step Into the Past at The Museum of Living History

Join us at the Heritage Barn at Wat Tyler Country Park for an unforgettable immersive experience that brings history to life right where it happened. Meet Wat Tyler himself and uncover the story of the 1381 Peasants’ Revolt through an engaging interactive performance led by our expert curators, Artemus Watts and Jonny Tyler.

But the journey doesn’t end there; after the show, get hands-on in our heritage arts workshop, where you’ll craft your own medieval keepsakes to take home as a memory of your time-travelling adventure.

Perfect for history lovers, families, and curious minds of all ages. Book your tickets now and become part of the story!
