Art is for Everyone
Imagine a world where the transformative power of the arts is within everyone's reach.
Our aim is to make imagination a reality.
CURRENT PROJECTS
We are extremely pleased to announce we have been awarded funding for TWO very exciting projects starting in January 2025!

The Rocket
“Our planet is under threat! The only way out is on a rocket. But there are limited seats… who gets one?” The Rocket is a co-creation project that builds on our ongoing work with refugee children living in temporary housing.

Wat Tyler & the Peasant's Revolt
Participants will have the opportunity to explore their local and regional history by spending up to 12 weeks developing a participatory show alongside professional actors and artists.
PAST PROJECTS

Youth Theatre Programme
At Unpuzzled Youth Theatre, our experienced practitioners and educators offered unique programmes that cultivated soft skills, confidence, and collaboration.

When You See Me
When you See Me is a past project that ran from September 2023. Each week, we delivered fun theatre activities that aimed to improve children's English language.

A Knight at the Museum
"A Knight at the Museum" brought history to life through a immersive theatrical experience that transported audiences back in time.

The Mitten
Through captivating storytelling, vibrant visuals, and immersive performances, our rendition of "The Mitten" captures the hearts and imaginations of audiences of all ages.
WITH FUNDING AND SUPPORT FROM

The Theatre of Time
The barriers that prevent individuals from enjoying and engaging with the arts are all too real.
Financial constraints often exclude those who long to experience the magic of theatre, while limited access and lack of representation hinder the voices that deserve to be heard.
Unpuzzled Theatre is on a mission to ensure that the arts are not just a privilege for a select few, but a vibrant tapestry that embraces and empowers everyone.

Stories Across Time and Space
Our work is rooted in the lived experiences of both local and global communities—particularly those with migration backgrounds or limited access to cultural resources. Through collaboration, we co-create performances that tell their stories while drawing parallels with historical events, showing how struggles for freedom, identity, and justice have been fought across earth and over generations
Through theatre, visual arts, and hands-on engagement, we don’t just tell stories — we invite people into the lives of those who lived it. Because history isn’t something that stands still. It’s something we’re still writing.

Our Summer Project
With funding and support from the Creative Estuary Co-Commissioning Programme, we are excited to announce that our Wat Tyler project will further develop in 2025 as an intergenerational initiative. This project builds on our Summer 2024 ACE-funded programme, which explored the history of the Peasants’ Revolt of 1381 through theatre and set-making.
Our Creative Estuary-funded programme will utilise what we’ve learned to create a community theatre project in Basildon. Participants will have the opportunity to explore their local and regional history by spending up to 12 weeks developing a participatory show alongside professional actors and artists.
Stay tuned for more information as dates and venues are confirmed, and find out how YOU can get involved if you live in the Basildon area!
